Chris Wright is a Director, Institutional Sales and Service at BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM). He is responsible for managing and developing institutional client relationships across Western Canada. With over 25 years experience in the investment industry, Chris has held sales and leadership positions at some of Canada's leading financial institutions. He oversees and provides guidance on investment solutions for a diverse client base, including pension and benefit plans, endowments, foundations and investment managers. Chris Wright joined BMO GAM’s Institutional Team in October 2023, and works in BMO GAM’s Calgary office. Chris started his career in 1987 in junior capital finance in Vancouver, and transitioned to the asset management business in 1998, moving from Vancouver to his hometown of Calgary one year later. After 20 years in retail fund distribution sales and leadership roles, he moved into Institutional Sales in 2019. Chris is a Finance graduate from the University of Calgary. He lives in Calgary with his wife and two children
