On April 12th BMO announced that it has reached an agreement to sell its Asset Management business in Europe, Middle East and Africa which will, subject to completion, become part of Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
Columbia Threadneedle Investments has a strong track record as a global asset manager with more than 2,000 people, including 450 investment professionals, and $547 billion of assets under management. Bringing together these two complementary businesses will expand the overall offerings and capabilities for our customers, and ensure the business continues to be well positioned to support our customers going forward.
As ever, we remain committed to providing the high levels of service our customers are used to, and to delivering a smooth transition over the next several months. We will keep customers updated as appropriate.
Thank you for your continued trust in us.
