About BMO Global Asset Management

An asset manager with global reach

At BMO Global Asset Management, we believe that our role is to successfully connect our clients with the outcomes they want to achieve.

In a complex and interconnected world, identifying the right investments can be a daunting task.

Whatever your reasons for investing, an awareness of the wider world and the interconnections between economies and markets is essential to achieving your end goal.

At BMO Global Asset Management, our aim is to bring this broader perspective into focus. Through 20+ offices in 14 countries we can get closer to you, listen and understand your needs.

A Global Platform

Across a range of asset types we have investment teams operating around the world. Where it makes sense, areas of focused expertise are combined as part of a broader global team, a structure that through 11 defined specialisms allows us to bring a global perspective to the delivery of client-orientated products.

An active manager

Our ambition is to be recognised as a manager capable of meeting a range of client needs. Alongside stand-alone asset class capabilities actively aiming to deliver outperformance, we offer solutions-based products that leverage off our global investment platform.

The value of investments and any income derived from them can go down as well as up as a result of market or currency movements and investors may not get back the original amount invested.

Smart innovation

Even if your circumstances and objectives remain broadly consistent, it’s important that your asset manager continues to adapt.

Our heritage in asset management spans back 150 years – a century and a half in which the world and investment landscape have transformed and continue to evolve. During that time we have striven to constantly reassess and reappraise the needs of our clients and develop innovative and relevant solutions to help them meet their objectives.

The strategies we apply today demonstrate our commitment to offering new ideas and fresh perspectives. These include a host of outcome-focused solutions, pioneering capabilities and long-standing success stories like the world’s first publicly quoted investment vehicle that we still manage today.
