Val has 7 years of industry experience including 4+ years of dedicated small cap experience, focusing exclusively on small and mid-cap companies across all industries. Most recently, Val was an Associate Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Lead for CIBC Asset Management’s Canadian small cap strategies. Val holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
