Acushla joins BMO bringing 25 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. Her career has spanned crucial areas such as structured products, fixed income, foreign exchange, wealth management, and sales team management. Outside of work, Acushla is an active contributor to the United Way and regularly engages with universities through recruitment initiatives. Additionally, she is a recipient of the Women in Capital Markets Leadership Award. Acushla graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors degree in Economics.
Erika is Director, Specialized Solutions at BMO Global Asset Management based in Toronto, Ontario. Previously, Erika was Vice President of Sales, at TD Securities on the structured product desk. Her expertise lies in Canadian structured product sales, collaborating closely with portfolio managers and UHNW clients to craft tailored hybrid investment solutions. With a solid background from the Rotman School of Business at U of T, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Erika possesses a profound understanding of Canada’s Wealth and Investments industries. Active in the Women in Capital Markets (WCM) organization, Erika mentors young women aspiring for careers in capital markets.
Guillaume is a senior executive with global experience in alternative investments, capital markets and investment banking. Over his career, Guillaume has deepened his industry experience through key positions at global financial institutions, including CIBC Capital Markets, UBS and JPMorgan. He brings hands-on experience in building, structuring, and selling innovative products and solutions from the ground up. Guillaume has extensive experience in structured products, derivatives, private markets, hedge funds, M&A, and credit. He is passionate about supporting the entrepreneurial and charitable communities. Guillaume received a B.A. in Resource Management from Victoria College, University of Toronto in 1997, and a Law degree from Cardiff Law School, United Kingdom in 2000. He has lived and worked in nine countries and is a dual citizen of Canada and France.
Erin Allen has been a part of the BMO ETFs team driving growth since the beginning, joining BMO Global Asset Management in 2010 and working her way through a variety of roles gaining experience in client service, sales, and product development. For the past 5+ years, she has been working closely with capital markets desks, index providers, and portfolio managers to bring new ETFs to market that address the evolving needs of investors. More recently, Erin is committed to helping empower investors to feel confident in their investment choices through ETF education. Erin hosts the weekly ETF Market Insights broadcast, delivering ETF education to DIY investors in a clear and concise manner. Her focus is on supporting investors in their own investment journey. Erin has an honors degree from Wilfred Laurier University and her CIM designation.
Adam has been in the finance industry since 2006. He joined the team at BMO Global Asset Management in 2017 and served as a specialist for our SMA platform at BMO Nesbitt Burns. His team was tasked with fund raising for BMO GAM’s first series of Alternatives products. Prior to joining BMO, Adam held a number of sales-related roles at other financial institutions in multiple sectors of the industry. Adam brings with him knowledge of damage and personal lines insurance, options trading strategies, SMAs, mutual funds, seg funds, hedge funds and private equity fundraising. Adam is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
Dave is joining us as a wholesaler and brings with him 8 years of industry experience working with advisor teams across Alberta and Saskatchewan. His experience working within the advisor community has allowed him to create meaningful partnerships. Dave is a graduate of the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and has successfully completed his CIM®.
Richard has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. His key responsibilities include leading growth in BMO ETFs’ business, raising product awareness, and delivering a world-class experience to investment advisors and portfolio managers. He possesses product knowledge spanning across traditional and alternative investments.
Richard previously served as Director Equity Derivatives, CRM at TMX Montréal Exchange, where he oversaw the options market. His mandate was to develop the derivatives business by helping investment advisors and investors use options. He contributed for many years to the development of the derivatives market and has held increasingly senior positions during his tenure at the Montréal Exchange, where he carried out interactions with various market participants from the buy side to the sell side. Before joining the Montréal Exchange, he was at Desjardins, onboarding and relationship management for active traders at Disnat Direct.
Richard holds a number of industry designations including Derivatives Market Specialist (DMS®), Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) Charterholder. He is an alumnus of John Molson School of Business, Concordia University with a BComm in Finance and Management Information Systems.
Lillian joined BMO Global Asset Management having spent the last 15 years in wealth management at various firms in sales, sales management and National Accounts. Her most recent experience was with a Canadian alternatives manager to help educate and foster a passion for alternatives investing. Lillian has deep experience and demonstrated success in the Canadian alternatives space and is a member of the AIMA Canada Executive Committee.
A passionate 22 year veteran of the financial services industry, Chris oversees the proliferation of BMO ETFs throughout Central Canada, providing support to portfolio managers from downtown Toronto to Winnipeg. He transitioned from Corporate Treasury at RBC to the wealth business in 2005. Between 2006 and 2014, Chris was a significant sales contributor at IA Clarington, helping to grow the asset management company from $5 billion to over $16 billion. Chris joined BMO Global Asset Management in 2014 as Vice President Sales, Downtown Toronto, and has since cultivated many strategic relationships and partnerships, primarily in the IIROC channel.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University, and numerous CSI accreditations. He has conducted hundreds of presentations, and has also been trained in both the Dale Carnegie and Sequoia Systems.
Richard Poulin is responsible for servicing both IIROC and MFDA Financial Advisors in the Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara regions, as well as some outlying cities in southwestern Ontario. Prior to joining BMO in 2008, he held a similar sales role at a competitor firm for almost five years, after having spent a number of years as an Associate Financial Advisor at an IIROC firm. Rich graduated from Brock University in 1998, and holds the CIM, FMA and FCSI designations from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Drew has more than 5 years of experience growing BMO Global Asset Management’s award-winning suite of Mutual Funds and ETFs. Known for his forward-looking strategic and consultative approach, in collaboration with an expert team of portfolio managers, Drew’s primary focus is on building value-added, customized solutions for Advisors and their clients, including investment analysis, market insights, trade ideas, fixed income, and foreign exchange. Prior to joining BMO, he was a member of an Advisor team providing discretionary investment services. Drew has taken several industry courses with the Canadian Securities Institute and holds a BA Specialization in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
With more than 25 years of industry experience in banking, securities, mutual funds and financial education, Kevin provides a rare combination of both industry knowledge and educational expertise on Exchange Traded Funds. During his career he has authored several investment industry courses for the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), including ETF focused courses and Managed Accounts chapter of the CSC. Kevin frequently interacts with portfolio managers and investors about the benefits of ETFs and how they can be used to add value to any investment portfolio. This interaction builds on his institutional background in Managed Account platforms. He is a regular contributor to investment industry publications, has also been a guest speaker and panelist at industry events, and has appeared several times on BNN. Kevin has an MBA from Dalhousie University and holds a number of industry designations including FCSI, CIM and CFP.
Mark is the BMO ETF team's representative for Western Canada. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mark has covered many diverse forms of financial risk. He began his career as a professional indemnity broker, becoming a vice president at Minet International Professional Indemnity Ltd. (now part of AON), conducting risk analysis for the Big 8 global accounting firms, as well as some of the top U.S. law firms. He is responsible for overseeing the proliferation of ETFs throughout Canada's vast western region and providing support to portfolio managers from the Pacific (Duncan B.C.), to the Lakehead (Thunder Bay, Ontario). He has worked as a retail investment advisor with RBC DS; in the mutual fund industry with First Trust Portfolios; and has held several other positions in the pension industry. He brings with him a Master’s degree in Russian History from McGill University and several CSI accreditations.
Erika brings to the table experience in investment analysis, portfolio construction, and trading of equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, options, ETFs and mutual funds. She is known for her attention to detail and consultative approach in providing support and education to advisors and portfolio managers. Erika is a CFA charter holder and has obtained several licenses with the Canadian Securities Institute in derivatives and options trading. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Finance and Marketing) from John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal.
Rob Butler is a seasoned financial professional, currently serving as Managing Director, Intermediary Distribution at BMO Global Asset Management, where he oversees sales distribution efforts. Rob previously held senior sales positions at Incapital Canada, HSBC & CIBC World Markets. His expertise spans across structured products, ETFs and active management solutions. Rob holds an MBA in Accounting and Strategy from the University of Windsor, and B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
Natalie is responsible for growing BMO Global Asset Management’s Institutional presence in Western Canada, levering multi-channel expertise, a keen focus on relationship management and a deep understanding of industry dynamics. Drawing on over two decades of financial services experience, Natalie is focused on aligning capabilities with investor needs, to effectively help clients reach their unique objectives. Prior to joining BMO Global Asset Management in 2015, Natalie worked for major investment management firms in progressively senior roles, specializing in investment product marketing, business development, and sales and relationship management. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Sanjay Singla specializes in supporting financial advisors with best-in-class investment solutions, developing long-term partnerships, and acting as a trusted consultant to provide timely and relevant ideas to help with business building initiatives.
Having worked in the financial services industry since 1998, Sanjay’s experience and expert product knowledge in mutual funds, ETFs and Guaranteed Investment Funds, allows him to better understand advisor motivations and expectations. His goal is to focus on unique strategies, and ultimately, provide advisors with a competitive advantage.
Kirsten joined BMO Global Asset Management in 2013 as the Director of Regional Sales for southwestern Ontario. She has been in the investment industry for approximately 20 years in both a sales and marketing capacity, 12 of which were spent in a Director role. Kirsten holds a degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario. She is an avid horseback rider and loves all things gastronomic.
As Director of ETF Distribution for southern Ontario, Jean Carlo brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, notably in sales and relationship management. Prior to joining BMO, he held various sales and key account roles at Vanguard, and worked in business development at iShares (BlackRock). In addition to his extensive ETF experience, Jean Carlo spent a number of years supporting a strategic institutional clientele at Morningstar Canada. A native of Montreal, Jean Carlo is fluent in both English and French, and holds a BA from Concordia University, as well as CIM® and FCSI designations.
Mike is responsible for Dealer Head Office relationships across Canada on behalf of our Investment Solutions, and leadership of the National Accounts Team. He has been with BMO since 2009, with previous experience in several areas of the Bank’s Wealth Management division including BMO Nesbitt Burns, BMO Private Banking, and leading BMO Asset Management’s Sales Reporting & Analytics Team. Mike is a graduate of McMaster University, holding a BA in Physics, a BA in Economics, and an M.B.A. from the DeGroote School of Business.
